Kathy, click on the article posted here, Best Directions (Trigrams) for Sleep or Work – PDF download version and then look up under the column for women the Trigram (energy pattern) for the year you were born. The article lists your four best directions. The fourth and third directions listed, and maybe even the second direction are good orientations for the head of your bed to be placed in the room.

To determine where this is in your room:

  • Draw a sketch of your bedroom, with the bagua (nine equal divisions) laid over the sketch.
  • Some sectors you won’t be able to make use of because of closet, bathroom, or door locations. You should have a couple of places though that you can place your bed in the room to bring in good energy from your head down through your body.
  • It’s also possible that there isn’t a good orientation for your bed in the room for a good night’s sleep. If this is the case, consider sleeping in a different room.
  • Also, see if you can’t find a beautiful large shawl or beautiful piece of fabric that you can cover the mirror with in the evening. Somehow, a blanket seems a bit overbearing for remedying the mirror. I have friends who even take the shawl on trips to cover the mirror in a hotel room.

I hope you sleep well tonight.
